A Stockton DUI runs on three tracks that meet at the insurance question: the San Joaquin County Superior Court, a DHCS-licensed DUI program, and DMV, which reinstates only with an SR-22 on file.
San Joaquin County’s courthouses
The court is the county’s general trial court for felonies, misdemeanors and traffic, and it conducts proceedings at the Stockton Courthouse, 180 E. Weber Avenue, at the Juvenile Justice Center in French Camp, and at branch courts in Lodi and Manteca.

A second DUI: what DMV requires before you drive again
DMV’s repeat-offender flyer spells out the insurance step. A second DUI arrest with a 0.08% result brings a one-year administrative suspension, and you can apply right away for an ignition-interlock restriction with proof of program enrollment and an SR-22.
After a second non-injury conviction, the suspension is two years with a mandatory one-year interlock term. Full reinstatement then needs proof the program is complete and an SR-22, which DMV says must be maintained for three years.
