SR-22 in Thousand Oaks: Ventura and Simi Valley courthouses, the Moorpark program and the hearing
For a Thousand Oaks driver, the court side of an SR-22 case runs through two Ventura County Superior Court buildings: the Hall of Justice at 800 South Victoria Avenue in Ventura, where the court’s posted assignments put traffic misdemeanors in Courtroom 10 and criminal misdemeanors in Courtroom 11, and the East County Courthouse at 3855-F Alamo Street in Simi Valley.
What each Ventura County courthouse is doing now
The East County Courthouse’s own assignment sheet, effective January 5, 2026, shows one active courtroom, S1, for small claims and traffic trials, with S2 through S5 vacant. Its walk-up windows take payments on Mondays and Tuesdays only, and Simi traffic court sits on Tuesdays. The Ventura assignments, effective August 31, 2026, carry the misdemeanor calendars.
