In San Jose, the Santa Clara County Superior Court keeps criminal departments 23 to 54 at the Hall of Justice, 190 W. Hedding Street, and every DHCS-licensed DUI program in the county has a San Jose address. Both facts shape the court half of an SR-22 case before DMV ever sees the filing.

Besides the Hall of Justice, the court runs criminal departments at the Palo Alto Courthouse (270 Grant Avenue) and criminal and traffic at the South County Morgan Hill Courthouse, and lists traffic at the Family Justice Center Courthouse, 201 N.
